Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17.09.2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the sale of goods and related services by ForgePC, a business operating in Ireland, through the website forgepc.ie (the "Site").
ForgePC's contact email is hello@forgepc.ie. Our business address is Innovation Square, Tallaght, Co. Dublin.
1. About ForgePC
ForgePC provides custom-built gaming PCs, workstations, upgrades, component sourcing, assembly, configuration, testing and related services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, PCs shown on the Site are example configurations. They are not necessarily pre-built or off-the-shelf PCs held in stock. A customer order may require components to be sourced specifically for that order before the PC is assembled and tested.
2. Website Builds and Configurations
Builds displayed on the homepage, catalogue, product pages or other parts of the Site are intended to demonstrate possible configurations and pricing.
A displayed configuration may be ordered as shown or may be changed where ForgePC agrees to the requested changes. The final components, specifications and price will be confirmed before the order is accepted and assembly begins.
Website configurations are subject to component availability and supplier pricing. A displayed build does not mean that ForgePC has already assembled or stocked that exact PC.
Once an order is accepted, the build may be sourced, assembled, configured and tested specifically for the customer. The same cancellation, return, refund, deposit and warranty conditions apply to website configurations and custom-configured builds, subject always to any statutory consumer rights that apply to the particular order.
3. Orders and Acceptance
Submitting a configuration, quotation request, contact form or checkout request does not by itself guarantee that ForgePC will accept the order.
An order becomes binding when ForgePC confirms acceptance of the order, including by email, written confirmation or successful payment confirmation, as applicable.
We may decline an order where, for example, a component is unavailable, a supplier price changes materially, a technical compatibility issue is identified, or we are otherwise unable to fulfil the requested configuration. If ForgePC cancels an accepted order before fulfilment, any amount that is legally required to be refunded will be refunded to the customer.
4. Pricing
All prices are shown in Euro (€).
Unless otherwise stated, the displayed price for a ForgePC build includes the relevant component sourcing, procurement, PC assembly, cable management, configuration, setup, testing, diagnostics and applicable taxes.
ForgePC does not normally add a separate standard labour or assembly charge at checkout where those costs are already included in the displayed build price.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, specification or listing errors before an order is accepted.
4.1 Higher-value builds and service charges
For builds with a total value above €3,000, ForgePC may apply a separate service charge depending on the complexity of the build, components involved, sourcing requirements or customer requests.
Any applicable service charge will be disclosed to the customer before payment is made.
For builds above €10,000, the service charge may typically range from €99 to €299 depending on the build and services required.
5. Payment
ForgePC currently accepts payment through Stripe. Card payments are processed securely through Stripe's checkout system.
ForgePC does not currently accept bank transfers or cash payments for orders unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
ForgePC does not store customers' full card details. Payment card information is handled by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's own systems and policies.
5.1 Custom Build Deposit
For custom-configured or bespoke PC builds, ForgePC may require a 30% deposit of the agreed order value before purchasing components or beginning assembly.
The deposit allows ForgePC to commit to the customer's confirmed build and purchase components specifically for that order.
Once the PC has been completed, tested and confirmed against the agreed specification, the remaining 70% balance is due before the PC is released for collection or delivery.
Where a customer changes their mind, refuses to proceed, or rejects a completed build for reasons unrelated to a fault, damage or failure to match the agreed specification, ForgePC may retain the deposit, subject to any statutory rights that apply.
The deposit is intended to cover ForgePC's commitment to the order, including component procurement, preparation, assembly, configuration and testing carried out specifically for that build.
Nothing in this section removes or restricts any statutory right the customer may have. Where ForgePC is unable to fulfil the agreed order, or where the goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract, the customer's statutory rights remain unaffected.
6. Custom-built and Made-to-order PCs
Where a customer selects or confirms a particular combination of components, the PC may be assembled specifically to that customer's requirements.
Component availability and supplier pricing can change before an order is accepted. If a material change affects the agreed configuration or price, ForgePC will contact the customer before proceeding.
The final specification confirmed with the customer forms the basis of the build. ForgePC will aim to ensure that the completed PC matches that confirmed specification.
7. Assembly, Configuration and Testing
Before release, ForgePC may carry out hardware assembly, BIOS or firmware configuration, operating-system setup where included, driver installation, diagnostics, stability testing and other reasonable testing appropriate to the build.
Testing is intended to identify assembly, compatibility or component issues before the PC is handed over to the customer.
8. Delivery
Current delivery options and charges are described on our Shipping & Payment page.
ForgePC currently offers delivery within Ireland. Nationwide delivery is available through an insured DPD service for the applicable delivery charge. Local Dublin delivery may also be available for the applicable charge, subject to location and prior arrangement.
International delivery is not currently offered unless expressly agreed by ForgePC in writing.
Customers may also arrange collection where this has been agreed with ForgePC in advance.
Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed with the customer.
9. Delivery Risk and Damage
ForgePC will take reasonable care when packaging and preparing a PC for delivery.
If a PC arrives visibly damaged, the customer should notify ForgePC as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs or other relevant evidence where available.
Nothing in these Terms limits the customer's statutory rights regarding goods that are damaged, defective, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
10. Packaging and Component Boxes
Where available, ForgePC will normally provide the original component boxes and packaging supplied with the customer's build.
ForgePC does not normally retain customers' original component packaging after the PC has been handed over.
Customers are encouraged to retain the packaging where practical, particularly where a component may need to be transported or returned under a manufacturer warranty or other support process.
ForgePC may request appropriate packaging or provide alternative return instructions where a product needs to be returned.
Failure to retain original packaging does not automatically remove or restrict statutory consumer rights.
11. Invoices and Build Specifications
ForgePC provides customers with an invoice and/or order confirmation showing the relevant order information.
Where applicable, the customer will also receive the confirmed component list or build specification for the PC ordered.
12. Cancellation and Returns
Cancellation, withdrawal, returns and refunds are explained in full on our Returns & Cancellation page.
Consumers buying online generally have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period. However, Irish consumer law provides exceptions, including for certain personalised or made-to-order goods. Whether the exception applies depends on the particular order and how the goods were supplied.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict a statutory cancellation, repair, replacement, refund or other consumer right that applies to an order.
13. Faulty, Damaged or Non-conforming Goods
If a PC or component is faulty, damaged, not as described or does not otherwise conform to the contract, the customer should contact ForgePC at hello@forgepc.ie.
Depending on the circumstances and the customer's statutory rights, the available remedies may include repair, replacement, refund, price reduction or termination of the contract.
Where a fault is reported within the applicable statutory period, ForgePC will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law.
Consumer rights are separate from and are not replaced by any additional ForgePC or manufacturer warranty.
14. Warranty
ForgePC may provide an additional warranty covering assembly and/or labour for the period stated on the applicable order, quotation or warranty information.
Individual components may also carry separate manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer warranties are subject to the applicable manufacturer's terms.
Any ForgePC or manufacturer warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, the customer's statutory rights under Irish consumer law.
15. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery and order information.
Customers should use the PC and its components in accordance with reasonable manufacturer instructions and should not intentionally modify, misuse or physically damage components.
Nothing in this section limits the customer's statutory rights where a fault or non-conformity is the responsibility of ForgePC or another party responsible under applicable law.
16. Software and Customer Accounts
Where operating systems, software or other digital products are installed or supplied, they are subject to the applicable manufacturer's or software provider's licence terms.
Customers are responsible for providing valid licence information where a paid software licence is required and is not supplied by ForgePC.
17. Availability and Component Changes
Component availability, supplier pricing and product specifications may change without notice.
If a component becomes unavailable after an order request but before the order is accepted, ForgePC may offer a suitable alternative or contact the customer regarding the available options.
ForgePC will not substitute a material component in an accepted build without informing the customer and obtaining agreement where required.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the above, ForgePC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses where those losses are not reasonably foreseeable.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy that a consumer is entitled to under applicable Irish consumer law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights concerning applicable jurisdiction and consumer protection laws that cannot lawfully be excluded by these Terms.
20. Consumer Rights
ForgePC complies with applicable Irish consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
The Consumer Rights Act 2022 provides protections relating to the conformity, quality and description of goods, as well as remedies where goods do not meet the contract.
Where an online purchase is covered by the statutory cooling-off rules, consumers generally have 14 days from receiving the goods to notify the trader that they wish to cancel. Certain exceptions apply, including personalised or made-to-order goods.
21. Complaints
If you have a complaint or issue with an order, please contact us first at hello@forgepc.ie so that we can investigate and try to resolve the matter directly.
If you need independent information about your consumer rights, you can contact the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
22. Changes to These Terms
ForgePC may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were most recently revised.
Changes will not remove or retrospectively restrict statutory rights that applied to an order already placed.
